Unterauftragsverarbeiter

Render nennt als Unterauftragsverarbeiter Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Cloudflare und ClickHouse, jeweils mit Sitz in den USA. Den Schutz vor Denial-of-Service-Angriffen erbringt Render nach eigenen Angaben mit der Infrastruktur von Cloudflare. Welcher Anbieter das CDN für statische Websites betreibt, gibt Render nicht an.

Auftragsverarbeitung

Es gilt der Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag von Render (Data Processing Addendum), der die Nutzungsbedingungen von Render ergänzt. Für eigene technische Nutzungsdaten, etwa Verbindungsdaten und Aktivitätsprotokolle, handelt Render nach diesem Vertrag als eigenständiger Verantwortlicher.

Weil Render statische Websites über ein weltweites CDN ausliefert, können Ihre Anfragen auch von Servern außerhalb der EU beantwortet werden.

Render ist nach dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert. Die Europäische Kommission hat für zertifizierte Unternehmen ein angemessenes Datenschutzniveau anerkannt (Durchführungsbeschluss (EU) 2023/1795 vom 10. Juli 2023). Sollte das Framework nicht mehr gelten, sieht der Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag von Render die Standardvertragsklauseln der Europäischen Kommission als Grundlage der Übermittlung vor.
